Many of us are still searching for information as to how to apply for liquor license and how do I get the e-token to go get my booze myself.
Due to Covid-19 corona virus pandemic Maharashtra government has decided to start online delivery of liquor in all major cities.
I will explain both the ways to get an e-token and your procure your liquor license.
Lets now see how you can get the E-TOKEN for purchasing liquor from your favorite nearby shop that you always buy it from.
Now you will logon to a Government website :
www.mahaexcise.com
Now here you don't have to create a new user registration.
Simple go ahead and fill up your mobile number and all other details asked on the first page.
You will now have to fill up the information as to what type o liquor/booze you want to buy like beer or whiskey
Now hit the submit button.
You will be presented with all available liquor shops in your area like below
Select the shop according to your preference like below
Select the timing available as shown above
Now you will be presented by a QR code and e-token that you will submit in the shop while purchasing liquor from that particular shop that you have selected.
You can show this to Police if they ask you while travelling as well as a proof.
